Content License
This page sets out who owns what when Drafty produces a garden plan or reel. It applies on top of the Terms of Service.
§ 1Your inputs
You retain ownership of your inputs — prompts, photos, sketches, voice notes. You grant Drafty a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use those inputs solely to operate the service for you (drafting plans, rendering reels, restoring sessions, supporting you).
/app/billing at any time.§ 2Generated outputs
Outputs are: SVG plans, plant lists, PDF maintenance manuals, MP4 reels, voice-over audio, and any related artefacts. Subject to the rest of this licence and your active subscription, Drafty grants you a personal, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual licence to:
- Use the output for your own garden — including printing, sharing with builders, and posting socially.
- Modify the output (annotate, crop, recolour, remix) for your own non-commercial purposes.
- Keep using outputs after you cancel your subscription, so long as the use complies with this licence and the Acceptable Use Policy.
§ 3Sketch tier limits
Sketch (free) outputs include a small Drafty watermark on the SVG. This is part of the licence; please do not crop or remove it. Upgrade to Plot or Atelier to remove watermarks.
§ 4Commercial use — Atelier only
Plot and Sketch licences are for personal projects. If you are a landscape designer, gardener, allotment trust, or small studio producing client deliverables, you must hold an active Atelier subscription, which adds:
- Permission to deliver outputs to clients as part of your professional work.
- Handover PDF that includes a "Drawn with Drafty AI" mark — required to be retained on any redistributed file.
- Acknowledgement that you remain responsible for professional review under your jurisdiction's licensing rules (Drafty does not certify designs).
§ 5Restrictions
You may not:
- Resell raw outputs (SVG, MP4, PDF) as stock content, templates, or NFTs.
- Misrepresent outputs as the work of a chartered or licensed professional.
- Use outputs in advertising or training data for a competing AI service.
- Sublicense the outputs to third parties beyond what this licence allows.
§ 6Third-party content within outputs
Where Drafty includes third-party material (for example, voice-over music presets), the underlying third-party rights remain with their owners and are sub-licensed to you for the same uses as the generated reel.
§ 7Termination
Breaches of the Acceptable Use Policy or the Terms of Service may terminate this licence. Upon termination, you must stop using and delete any retained outputs.
§ 8Updates
The current version is dated 2026-05-06. Material changes affecting your existing rights will be communicated before they take effect; outputs you have already generated remain governed by the version of this licence in force at generation time.
